Deluxe double room

Each of our four top floor rooms has a plush king-sized bed with premium linens, and an opulent en-suite bathroom featuring walk in showers and high-end amenities.
Climate control,  dimmable lights, wifi, bar fridge and wireless music player allow you to create your own perfect luxury environment.

Our spacious king suite features a luxury bathroom with copper bath and walk in shower, an art room linking the bathroom to the bedroom and all of the features of the top floor rooms.

The Space

Aside from two terraces for eating and socialising, we have a shared space that opens onto the garden through French doors and the winery at the front of the house.

The space is flexible and is used for dining in the evening but provides a place to be during the day where you can relax.

We’ll hold regular wine tastings and, occasionally, hold musical soirees in the space.

There’s even a piano. And a great vinyl collection for playing at your leisure.

The garden is given to a lawn and mature trees as well as plantings of indigenous species.

From our luxury mattresses to our choice of natural soap, each part of your stay has been curated to reflect local artisanal expertise. From the artwork on the walls to the hand-gathered dried flowers around the house, we have created an environment that celebrates quality and local talent.

Fine Dining

Our chef, Antoine Loiseau, will be cooking up a gastronomic feast each night, using his classical French training to serve you an epicurean, seasonal, locally-sourced, constantly-changing menu.

Resident winemaker, Gavin Crisfield, is on hand to take you through the La Traversée journey, from vine to glass.
